Vegetable Raita:


Raita


 
Ingredients:
 
Mint
½ bunch
Green coriander
½ bunch
Garlic clove
2pc
Salt½tsp
Onion½
Green chili1+1
Carrot (cut in cubes)1
Peas½cup
Potato (cut in cubes)½cup
Cinnamon½tsp
Yogurt2cups
Water or milkas desired

  • Boil carrot, peas and potatoes.
  • In blender, blend mint, coriander, 1 green chili, salt and little water or milk and blend well.
  • Beat yogurt.
  • Add all ingredients in yogurt.
  • Cut onion and one green chili in cubes and garlic cloves in very small cubes.
  • In a pan put 1tbsp oil and add onion in it, keep fry for 1 minute, now add garlic and chilies and let it fry for a while.
  • Pour this over yogurt.
  • Sprinkle a pinch of crush red round chilies.
